Nestled in Dartmouth’s historic town, Café Alf Resco has been a beloved gathering spot for locals and visitors since it first opened its flame-topped iron gates on April 1st, 1994. For more than three decades, Alf’s (as it is affectionately known in Dartmouth) has served as a vibrant hub where the community comes together to enjoy hearty breakfasts, freshly baked pastries, and expertly crafted coffee. Their original Italian lever arm coffee machine was a novelty when cappuccinos were just making their mark in the UK - sadly it was retired a while back.
